About the Founder

Hello! I'm Elisabeth, the founder and CEO of Specialist Academic Support (SAS). My journey into education and support services is deeply personal and professionally extensive. As someone who is dyslexic, I understand first-hand the challenges and unique strengths that come with neurodiversity and in particular being a student. This personal experience has been the driving force behind my commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.

I hold a degree with honours in Forensic Psychology and am a qualified CBT therapist. Additionally, I have a postgraduate qualification in Professional Development in Education, and a PGDE Masters level teaching qualification specialising in teaching adults with additional needs. I am currently enrolled on a Global MBA with a plan to graduate January 2026. With over 15 years of experience in coaching, psychology, education, and business, and 10 year in providing DSA support, I bring a comprehensive and empathetic approach to supporting students.

At SAS, our mission is to provide tailored, high-quality assistance to help students, particularly those with ADHD, dyslexia, and Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), achieve their full potential.
